Monday Thoughts 08/25/2025

First, I hope everyone is having a great Monday. Since things have been hectic and I had a calm moment, I figured I would update here. I hope everyone had a great Sunday and everyone is doing well and staying active and healthy! With that being said let's get into things shall we.

One thing I want to get into is recently the president said he hopes to get into heaven by working on a peace deal. This was saddening to hear as it shows a lack of knowledge by the president and that someone needs to share the true gospel with him.

Romans 6:23 KJV

For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Salvation is a gift from God. It is not something that we can earn by the works that we do.

Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: [9] Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Our works cannot save us! Only the blood of Christ can save us from hell! This is something that many do not understand nor are taught sadly in modern religion. We need to be vocal in teaching those we encounter that salvation is by faith in Christ alone! Nothing else can save us.

This is also a reminder that we need to pray for all our leaders and those in authority. Whether we agree with their politics or not they need a savior!

On another topic you may see posts on social media saying they claim that the rapture will happen on a specific date in September. This is simply garbage as anyone who has read the Bible knows that it says we won't know the day or time of His return. Do not let these people make you afraid or think something is going to happen that isn't.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-18 KJV

But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. [14] For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. [15] For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. [16] For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: [17] Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. [18] Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The Lord's return is a comfort for the believer. Do not let people use it to make you fearful or think the end of the world is going to happen on the date they say. Trust the Lord and serve Him each day. Whether we die or are taken in the clouds we should live everyday as if it was our last.
