Good evening, everyone!
I just want to take a moment to give a bit of an update on how things are going and what plans I have for the future of the site and such.
I am going to try and start having a blog post at least once a week. Whether it is a Bible study blog or a news events blog or update I want to get one out at least once a week. Some weeks may be more but that will give at least 4 blogs a month.
If you have topics, studies, or events you would like me to talk about or do a blog on please jump in the forums and let me know. I would appreciate any feedback you all want to give. With that being said I want to leave you with a simple thought as we go into the new week.
Psalm 100:4
"Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name."
This verse gives such a great yet simple truth. That truth is, how are we entering worship with God? Are we doing so with a right spirit? Or are we going in with a bad heart? How we enter public or private worship matters! When we enter with the right spirit not only does it give God glory it also helps us and those around us! It is important to take the time to prepare your heart before worship. If anything is in the way of having a good spirit address, it first! Remember also, I think it's important to point out, that happiness is different from joy. Same with being thankful IN all things not FOR all things! This doesn't mean because we have bad things going on we can't have a burdened heart. The Bible makes that clear. Hannah in 1 Samuel 2 makes that clear. However, even in her struggle she still had the right heart and mindset. It is difficult in this world not to be pulled down. However, we must try to do so. Not only for ourselves but for those around us that we have an impact on!
An important truth and verse for us to keep in mind. Remember I am praying for everyone and be sure to reach out if I can help in any way! Have a good week everyone!
